Template — Sync Shopify orders to your ERP
The problem
Section titled “The problem”Every new Shopify order needs to end up in your ERP for invoicing, stock and accounting. Doing it by hand is slow and error-prone. This template pushes each paid order into your ERP automatically, in real time.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Shopify (new/paid order) ↓Get Orders → Iterator (per order line) ↓Data Mapper (Shopify → ERP schema) ↓ERP: Create Order / Invoice (SAP · Odoo · NetSuite) ↓Data Store (log the mapping order_id ↔ erp_id)Nodes used
Section titled “Nodes used”| Node | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Shopify — Get Orders | Read new/paid orders (or trigger on webhook) |
| Iterator | Process each order / line item |
| Data Mapper | Translate Shopify fields to your ERP schema |
| ERP node (SAP / Odoo / NetSuite) | Create the sales order or invoice |
| Data Store | Persist the order_id ↔ erp_id link (idempotency) |
Key configuration
Section titled “Key configuration”- Shopify — Get Orders: filter by
financial_status = paidandcreated_at_minto avoid reprocessing. - Data Store: before creating in the ERP, check whether the
order_idwas already synced (prevents duplicates on retries). - Data Mapper: map customer, line items, taxes and totals to the ERP’s expected fields.
