SifenConsultarRUC

Description

Queries a RUC (Unique Taxpayer Registry number) in DNIT’s registry (siConsRUC). It returns the associated legal name, the taxpayer’s status, and whether it is enrolled as an electronic invoicer. It is useful to validate an Electronic Document’s receiver before issuing, avoiding rejections caused by incorrect data.

Notes

• The RUC is queried without its check digit; the node strips any non-numeric character before sending the query
• It does not consume numbering or require a digital signature, only the credential to authenticate the connection
• If the receiver is not enrolled as an electronic invoicer, it can still receive a DE (treated as a final consumer or non-enrolled receiver, depending on the voucher type)
