Trello - Create Card
↩ Part of the Trello integration.
Description
Section titled “Description”Creates a card in a Trello list (POST /cards). It is the entry point of most Trello automations: a form is submitted, an order arrives or a ticket is opened, and a card appears in the right column of your board.
The destination list is identified by its id (id_list), never by its name. The title, description, due date and members accept dynamic variables from previous nodes.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
credentials_id | credentials | Yes | Trello credential |
id_list | text | Yes | id of the list to create the card in |
name | text | Yes | Card title |
desc | textarea | No | Card description |
due | text | No | Due date in ISO format (e.g. 2026-08-15T10:00:00Z) |
id_members | text | No | Member ids to assign, comma-separated |
pos | text | No | Position: top, bottom or a number |
id_list, name, desc, due and id_members are resolved through dynamic variables ({{data.field}}). pos is sent literally.
Credentials
Section titled “Credentials”This node requires a Trello credential (service type trello):
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
api_key | Trello API key, from trello.com/app-key |
token | Token generated when authorizing that key |
Output
Section titled “Output”The node returns the card created by Trello, exactly as the API sends it:
