Trello - Delete Card
↩ Part of the Trello integration.
Description
Section titled “Description”Permanently deletes a Trello card (DELETE /cards/{id}). Use it to clean up cards created by mistake or temporary cards that a workflow no longer needs.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
credentials_id | credentials | Yes | Trello credential |
card_id | text | Yes | id of the card to delete |
card_id is resolved through dynamic variables ({{data.field}}).
Credentials
Section titled “Credentials”This node requires a Trello credential (service type trello):
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
api_key | Trello API key |
token | Token generated when authorizing that key |
Output
Section titled “Output”Trello returns no useful body for a deletion, so the node emits a confirmation object:
{ "data": { "id": "66cd34ef56ab78cd90ef12ab", "deleted": true }, "_meta": { "moduleVersion": "1.0.0", "success": true, "id": "66cd34ef56ab78cd90ef12ab", "totalMs": 197 }}Because the card itself is gone, keep anything you need from it (URL, title) before this node runs.
Usage Example
Section titled “Usage Example”{ "credentials_id": "trello_ops", "card_id": "{{data.card_id}}"}A safe pattern: Get card → check it is really the one → Delete card.
- Deleting a card that no longer exists returns a
not_founderror (404); it is not treated as success. - Deletion requires write permission on the board; otherwise you get a
401/403authentication error. - This error type is not retried — a repeat call would fail identically.
