What is an Anthropic Credential
Section titled “What is an Anthropic Credential”An Anthropic credential allows your workflows to use Claude AI models (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku) for text generation, analysis, and data processing.
Configuration Fields

How to Get the API Key
Section titled “How to Get the API Key”- Go to console.anthropic.com
- Sign in or create an account
- Navigate to API Keys in the sidebar
- Click Create Key
- Give it a descriptive name (e.g., “Floogos”)
- Copy the generated key
- Paste it in the API Key field in Floogos
Billing Setup
Section titled “Billing Setup”- Go to Plans & Billing on console.anthropic.com
- Select a plan or configure pay-per-use
- Add a payment method
- Set spending limits if needed
Available Models
Section titled “Available Models”- Claude Opus: The most capable model, for complex tasks
- Claude Sonnet: Balance between capability and speed
- Claude Haiku: The fastest, ideal for simple tasks
Security
Section titled “Security”- Anthropic API keys start with
sk-ant- - Never expose your key in public repositories
- Use separate keys per environment (development/production)
- Revoke compromised keys immediately from the console
