How to Get the Credentials

Step 1: Access Site Settings

1. Log in to your Squarespace account
2. Open the website you want to connect
3. Go to Settings > Developer API Keys

Step 2: Generate an API Key

1. Click Generate Key
2. Assign a descriptive name to the key (e.g., “Floogos Integration”)
3. Select the required permissions for the integration
4. Click Generate

Step 3: Configure in Floogos

1. Copy the generated API Key
2. Enter the key in Floogos in the corresponding field
3. Verify the connection by running a test

Troubleshooting

Authentication Error

• Verify the API Key is correct and active
• Confirm the key has not been revoked from the Squarespace panel
• Generate a new key if the current one is not working

Resource Access Denied

• Review the permissions assigned to the API key
• Make sure your Squarespace plan includes API access
• Commerce Basic plan or higher is required for e-commerce features

Data Not Updated

• Squarespace may have cache on certain endpoints
• Wait a few minutes and retry the request
• Verify changes have been saved in the Squarespace panel
