Template — Send error alerts to Telegram or WhatsApp

The problem

A failed workflow that nobody notices becomes a customer complaint. This template catches errors across your workflows and sends a formatted alert to a Telegram group or WhatsApp number in seconds — with the workflow name, the failing node and the error message.

How it works

Error Trigger (global — fires on any workflow failure)

Key configuration

Section titled “Key configuration”
  • In the alert message include workflow, node, error and a timestamp.
  • Use a Decision to route by severity (info → Telegram, critical → WhatsApp + Telegram).
  • Optionally throttle with a Data Store so a burst of errors doesn’t spam the channel.
