Floogos Update — Week 15, April 2026 (Apr 6–12)

Week 15 brought a major expansion across three areas: a brand-new Insights analytics section for deep workflow monitoring, a Workflow Planner view with Gantt-style scheduling and conflict detection, and a large batch of new integration nodes for Hub Fiscal and Sage. The AI assistant also received significant improvements in chat rendering and workflow generation.

A dedicated /insights page is now available in the sidebar. It provides deep analysis of workflow behavior across five tabs:

  • Overview — 6 KPI cards (total executions, success rate, average duration, LLM cost, time saved, money saved) each with a daily sparkline and period-over-period delta. Includes a workflow executions table with inline bars and a sticky summary row.
  • Temporal — A 7×24 heatmap showing activity by day of week and hour, a daily execution volume area chart, and a weekly success rate line chart.
  • Errors & Health — Error type distribution pie chart, top slow modules bar chart, top problematic workflows by failure rate, zombie workflows (active but without recent runs), open incidents, and retry rate statistics.
  • Cost & ROI — LLM cost per workflow, a money-saved vs LLM-cost scatter plot, and a node duration histogram.
  • Plan Usage — Four quota gauges (executions, AI tokens, AI requests, active workflows) with a linear projection to month-end.

The backend adds 8 API endpoints under /api/workflow/insights with a 60-second in-memory cache per client and time range. Performance indexes were added to workflowstates, workflowinstances, and requests_log tables. New columns money_saved_per_run and time_saved_per_run_min are now available on workflow records.

PDF export from the Insights page includes the Floogos logo and report metadata in a shared header helper, also reused by the Workflow Planner export.

A new /workflow-planner page provides two views for scheduling management:

  • Macro view — Week and month heatmap showing when each workflow runs.
  • 24h Detail view — Gantt-style timeline of the day with service-collision detection: overlapping workflows using the same external service are highlighted with overlap percentage calculated.

Features include free-slot suggestions, sticky workflow names, a per-row action menu (View Summary, Editor, Run, Schedule, Incidents, Comments), an inline schedule edit dialog, and PDF export with chart snapshot and collisions table. The page is fully bilingual (ES/EN).

Seven new modules were added for fiscal document management:

  • hubfiscalCreateDocument — Creates a new fiscal document in Hub Fiscal.
  • hubfiscalUpdateDocument — Updates an existing Hub Fiscal document.
  • hubfiscalExportPdf — Exports a Hub Fiscal document as PDF.
  • hubfiscalGetDocuments — Queries documents from Hub Fiscal.
  • sageCreateDocument — Creates a document in Sage.
  • zipCreate — Creates a ZIP archive from files in a workflow.
  • zipExtract — Extracts files from a ZIP archive.

Two DataStore operations were also added: dataStoreReplaceTags (replace all tags on a record) and dataStoreBatchTags (apply tag changes across multiple records).

A new SocialLoginButtons component auto-discovers enabled OAuth providers and displays them on the login and register pages. An AuthCallbackPage handles the /auth/callback OAuth redirect. Providers are configured server-side; no manual frontend configuration is needed.

AI Chat and Workflow Generation Improvements

Section titled “AI Chat and Workflow Generation Improvements”
  • The AI chat panel now renders responses with full Markdown formatting (headers, lists, code blocks) using the marked library.
  • A “thinking” animation is shown while the AI is generating a response.
  • The chat panel is now resizable by dragging its edge.
  • The AI workflow generator adds a clarification step: it asks questions before generating, offers default suggestions, and allows skipping the clarification.

The registration page was simplified to email, password, and password confirmation. The user’s name and locale are auto-derived from their email and browser settings. An animated testimonials carousel appears in the left panel. Terms acceptance is implicit under the primary button, consistent with modern SaaS patterns.

Users can now choose which columns to display for each DataStore group. The selection is saved per group in localStorage. A “No Tags” filter was also added to show records without any tag assigned.

The CSV create and parse nodes now support configurable delimiter, quote character, header row toggling, and encoding selection.

The Decision node now records which branch was taken in the execution trace, making it easier to understand conditional flow behavior in the history panel.

The cron expression field was rewritten to fix a save bug, automatically set minute to 0 when only an hour is selected, and provide a more compact UI.

Editor preferences (theme, layout options) are now synchronized to the backend via /v5/preferences, so settings persist across devices and browsers.

The Dashboard, Workflow Planner, Workflow Summary, Settings, Mapping, and Credentials pages now follow a consistent layout: no root padding, with a header using an icon and title pattern. Mapping and Credentials received a search bar and empty state at page level.

A falsy isBlocked value on the profile page was rendering a visible “0” character on screen. This is now suppressed correctly.

  • The Insights backend uses a JOIN pattern of workflowstates + workflowinstances consistent with the planner-schedules endpoint, with client_id filtering on every table for defense-in-depth isolation.
  • The zipCreate and zipExtract modules use no external binary dependencies.
  • The module loader is now case-insensitive, preventing failures when module folder names differ in casing from the module_name field.
  • Database connections now support a configurable DB_PORT environment variable.
  • The scheduler endpoint was updated to expose schedule information needed by the Workflow Planner.
