ClickUp - List Tasks
↩ Part of the ClickUp integration.
Description
Section titled “Description”Returns the tasks contained in a ClickUp list (GET /list/{list_id}/task). The node unwraps ClickUp’s { "tasks": [...] } envelope and hands the next node a plain array, which pairs naturally with the Iterator: read a list such as “Pending review” and process every task in it.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
credentials_id | credentials | Yes | ClickUp credential |
list_id | text | Yes | List id |
archived | text | No | true to include archived tasks |
subtasks | text | No | true to include subtasks |
page | number | No | Page number for pagination (0-based) |
list_id is resolved through dynamic variables ({{data.field}}). archived and subtasks are only sent when their value is exactly true; anything else leaves them off.
Credentials
Section titled “Credentials”This node requires a ClickUp credential (service type clickup):
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
token | Personal API token from ClickUp → Settings → Apps → API Token |
Output
Section titled “Output”An array of tasks. _meta carries the count and ClickUp’s last_page flag, which tells you whether another page exists:
{ "data": [ { "id": "86a1b2c3d", "name": "Order: ACME Inc.", "status": { "status": "to do", "type": "open" }, "due_date": "1786788000000", "url": "https://app.clickup.com/t/86a1b2c3d" }, { "id": "86a1b2c3e", "name": "Order: Globex", "status": { "status": "in progress", "type": "custom" }, "due_date": null, "url": "https://app.clickup.com/t/86a1b2c3e" } ], "_meta": { "moduleVersion": "1.0.0", "success": true, "count": 2, "last_page": true, "totalMs": 342 }}If the list is empty the node still succeeds and returns [].
Usage Example
Section titled “Usage Example”First page of a list
Section titled “First page of a list”{ "credentials_id": "clickup_ops", "list_id": "901300123456"}Second page, including subtasks
Section titled “Second page, including subtasks”{ "credentials_id": "clickup_ops", "list_id": "901300123456", "subtasks": "true", "page": 1}Feed the array into an Iterator to act on one task at a time — for example, comment on every overdue task.
- ClickUp paginates this endpoint at 100 tasks per page;
pageis 0-based. When_meta.last_pageisfalse, run the node again with the next page number. - Closed tasks are excluded by ClickUp unless the list’s filters say otherwise;
archived: truebrings back archived ones. - Only one list is read per call. To sweep a whole space, iterate over its lists, or use the HTTP node over the team-level
GET /team/{team_id}/taskendpoint.
Related Nodes
Section titled “Related Nodes”- ClickUp - Get Task — read a single task in full.
- ClickUp - Update Task — update each task you found.
- Iterator — loop over the returned array.
