What is a Google AI Credential
Section titled “What is a Google AI Credential”A Google AI credential allows your workflows to use Google’s Gemini models for text generation, image analysis, and multimodal processing. You need an API key from Google AI Studio.

How to Get the API Key
Section titled “How to Get the API Key”- Go to aistudio.google.com
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click Get API Key in the sidebar
- Select Create API key in new project or choose an existing Google Cloud project
- Copy the generated key
- Paste it in the API Key field in Floogos
Available Models
Section titled “Available Models”With this credential you can use Gemini models in AI nodes:
- Gemini 2.0 Flash: Fast and efficient model for general tasks
- Gemini 1.5 Pro: Advanced model with extended context window
- Gemini 1.5 Flash: Balance between speed and capability
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Authentication Error
Section titled “Authentication Error”- Verify the API key is correct and active
- Check that you haven’t exceeded the free quota
Model Not Available
Section titled “Model Not Available”- Some models require special access or are in beta
- Check availability in your region
Security
Section titled “Security”- Never share your API key publicly
- Configure API restrictions in Google Cloud Console
- Use different keys for development and production
- Monitor usage from Google AI Studio
- If a key is compromised, delete it and generate a new one
