Insights

Insights is the analytics section of Floogos. It aggregates execution data from all your workflows and presents it as a set of KPIs, charts, and tables so you can understand what’s running, what’s failing, how long things take, and what value your automations are generating.

Navigate to Insights from the left menu to access the dashboard.

All metrics are computed over a configurable time window. Use the History selector in the header to choose:

OptionWindow
TodayLast 24 hours
7 daysLast 7 days
14 daysLast 14 days
30 daysLast 30 days (default)
60 daysLast 2 months
90 daysLast 3 months

Changing the window reloads all data. Results are cached for 5 minutes on the server to avoid redundant queries when switching between tabs.

Today covers the last 24 hours from the current time, not the calendar day. Use it to diagnose issues that occurred in the most recent hours.

Six metric cards are displayed at the top of the page, each with a sparkline chart showing the daily trend over the selected window.

KPIDescription
Total ExecutionsNumber of unique workflow instances triggered in the window. Includes a delta % vs. the previous period of the same size.
Failed ExecutionsInstances that had at least one node with status = failed.
Failure Rate(failed / total) × 100. Shown as a percentage.
Avg. Run TimeAverage total execution time per instance (sum of all node durations). Shown in seconds.
Money SavedSum of money_saved_per_run × executions across all workflows that have this value configured.
Time SavedSum of time_saved_per_run_min × executions. Shown in minutes.

The Money Saved and Time Saved KPIs are only meaningful if you configure the savings values for each workflow. Open any workflow in the editor and set:

  • Money saved per run (money_saved_per_run): how much USD/EUR you save each time this workflow runs instead of a manual process
  • Time saved per run (min) (time_saved_per_run_min): how many minutes of manual work this workflow replaces per execution

Insights multiplies these values by the number of executions in the selected window to compute total ROI.

The Overview tab shows a searchable table of all workflows with their metrics for the selected period:

ColumnDescription
WorkflowName of the workflow
ExecutionsNumber of times it ran
FailedNumber of failed executions
Total timeCumulative execution time (seconds)
Avg timeAverage execution time per run (seconds)
LLM costTotal AI inference cost (USD) for workflows that use AI nodes
Money savedCalculated ROI in money
Time savedCalculated ROI in time

A Summary row at the bottom aggregates all values. The table is searchable by workflow name.

The Temporal tab provides time-based views:

A 7×24 matrix (day of week × hour of day) showing when executions are most concentrated. Each cell is colored by execution count — darker means more activity. Use this to identify peak load times and plan maintenance windows accordingly.

  • Rows: Monday to Sunday
  • Columns: Hours 00:00–23:00
  • Color intensity: proportional to the maximum cell in the matrix

Cell drill-down: Click any cell in the heatmap to open a side panel showing which workflows ran in that specific day and hour slot. The panel displays:

ColumnDescription
WorkflowWorkflow name
ExecutionsNumber of times it ran in that time slot
FailedNumber of failed executions (and % of total)
Avg. DurationAverage execution time in milliseconds or seconds

This drill-down is especially useful for diagnosing process overlaps that may overload infrastructure: if several heavy automations coincide in the same time slot, you can redistribute them in the scheduler to improve overall performance.

Two charts:

  • Daily Executions: line chart showing total and failed executions per day over the selected window
  • Weekly Success Rate: bar chart showing the % of successful executions per ISO week (last ~12 weeks)

The Errors & Health tab diagnoses problems in your automation:

Pie chart of failed node error types (module_error, code_error, UNKNOWN), showing the top 10 error types by count.

Bar chart of the top 5 node types (module names) with the highest average execution time (only nodes >100ms are included to exclude trivial nodes).

ColumnDescription
ModuleNode type (e.g. HTTP_Request, sqlQuery)
Avg msAverage execution time in milliseconds
ExecutionsTotal number of executions for this node type

Table of workflows with the highest failure rate, ordered by failed / executions. Useful to prioritize which workflows need attention.

  • Zombie Workflows: active workflows (isplay=1) that haven’t executed in more than N days (default 14). These may indicate broken triggers or stale automations.
  • Open Incidents: workflows with open incident records, grouped by workflow with incident count.
  • Retry Stats: overall retry rate across all node executions, and average retries in failed nodes.

The Cost & ROI tab focuses on the economic dimension of your automations:

Bar chart of AI inference cost (USD) per workflow, ordered by total cost. Includes:

  • Total LLM cost
  • Cost per execution
  • Money saved
  • ROI ratio (money_saved / llm_cost)

Scatter chart plotting each AI-using workflow as a point: X axis = LLM cost, Y axis = money saved. Points in the upper-left quadrant represent the best ROI (low cost, high savings).

Distribution of node execution times across all workflows in the window, bucketed as:

BucketRange
0–100msVery fast nodes
100–500msFast nodes
500ms–1sModerate
1–5sSlow (external APIs)
5–30sVery slow
>30sPotential bottlenecks

The Plan Usage tab shows how much of your subscription plan you’ve consumed in the current calendar month, with a linear projection to end of month:

QuotaDescription
ExecutionsWorkflow executions used vs. monthly limit
AI TokensLLM tokens consumed vs. monthly limit
AI RequestsNumber of AI node calls vs. monthly limit
Active WorkflowsCurrently active workflows vs. plan maximum

Each quota shows:

  • Used: current month consumption
  • Limit: your plan’s limit (shown as ∞ if unlimited)
  • %: percentage consumed
  • Projection: estimated end-of-month usage at the current pace

Click Export Report in the header to generate a PDF snapshot of the current Insights view. The PDF includes:

  • Floogos branding header with report title and generation timestamp
  • The selected time window
  • All KPI cards and charts visible in the current tab

The file is downloaded as insights-<timestamp>.pdf in landscape A4 format.

Insights data is cached in memory on the server for 60 seconds per client per time window. This means:

  • Rapid tab switching doesn’t re-run expensive queries
  • Clicking Refresh forces a cache invalidation and fresh data load
  • Data may be up to 60 seconds stale — this is intentional for performance

All Insights endpoints require authentication (Authorization: Bearer <token>). Mounted under /api/workflow/insights.
